As a mobile hair and makeup artist, I absolutely love being able to come to you, whether it’s your home, hotel, or wedding venue. It allows you to relax in your own space while getting ready, which I believe is such an important part of feeling calm, confident, and pampered.
To make this possible, I do charge a travel fee for locations. I want to explain why, so you can feel fully informed when booking your appointment.

What the Travel Fee Covers
The travel fee is not just about fuel. It covers a number of things that allow me to deliver a professional, high-quality service away from my studio, including:
Time spent travelling to and from your location
Fuel and vehicle costs
Parking fees or tolls, when required
Packing, loading and unloading my full professional kit, table, lighting, and other setup essentials
Setup and pack-down time that happens outside the main booking window
It also helps account for the extra planning and logistics involved in being on the road, especially for early starts, longer distances, or bookings that are outside metro areas.
Why It’s Fair and Important
I always aim to keep my travel fees reasonable, and I calculate them based on distance and accessibility. Charging a travel fee ensures I can continue to offer a mobile service that’s reliable, safe, and fully equipped, without compromising on quality or timing.
It also helps me maintain the same level of care and detail for every client, no matter where they’re getting ready.
Thank You for Understanding
I’m incredibly grateful to all my clients who value the convenience of mobile hair and makeup, and I truly appreciate your understanding when it comes to travel costs. If you ever have questions about your location or would like a quote for travel, I’m always happy to chat and help work it out.
