Behind the Scenes: Hair & Makeup on Set for “Optics”🎬 Now streaming on ABC iview

I’m so excited to share a little behind-the-scenes moment from one of the TV projects I worked on last year, a gripping drama series called Optics, now available to stream on ABC iview.

In this video, you’ll catch a glimpse of me in action, doing hair and makeup for one of the incredible actresses on set. Working in film and television is one of the most rewarding parts of my career. Every detail matters, from the precision of a perfectly placed curl to the subtlety of camera-ready makeup that reads well under studio lighting but still feels natural and true to the character.

What I love most about screen work is how collaborative it is. You're part of a larger creative team, all working together to bring a story to life. It’s about enhancing an actor’s features while staying true to the director’s vision and ensuring continuity from scene to scene, sometimes across long shoot days and quick turnarounds.

Being part of Optics was an amazing experience, and I’m proud to have contributed to a production that explores such powerful themes. You can now catch the full series on ABC iview if you’d like to see the final result.
